The Welsh Government is changing the way children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) are supported. 

The old SEN system is being replaced with the new Additional Learning Needs (ALN) system. The new ALN system will ensure that children, young people and their parents are involved as much as possible in the processes and in decisions that affect them.
