School Provision

Our school has been designed to support the needs of the pupils, and to provide as varied an offer as possible.

  • We have 11 classroom spaces that are each adapted to meet the needs of the group of learners who are based in that classroom.

  • Our two hall spaces allow for physical activities such as sensory circuits to take place as well as hosting a range of visitors such as musicians, theatre groups and dance sessions.

  • We have a Regulation Space that has been designed with Occupational Therapy support to allow pupils a safe space to regulate their bodies and emotions in readiness for learning.

  • The soft play room enhances sensory processing abilities and stimulates brain function which can help to improve focus and attention.

  • Our sensory room provides physical and sensory stimuli to develop use of the senses as well as encouraging interaction and independence.

  • We have two breakout spaces that we adapt based on pupil need.  Currently one space is a safe climbing space to allow pupils to learn to take managed risk, and the other is a quiet space to complete 1:1 learning activities.

  • Our Forest School area is designed to provide inspiring, hands-on learning experiences in the natural environment.  It can support developing confidence, problem-solving skills and help pupils to manage risk.

  • Our edible playground offers an engaging, multi-sensory space to teach children about growing and eating healthy foods.  It helps to improve health and wellbeing, offering fresh air and time in nature.
