Parentline is a text message service that allows parents and carers of children aged 5-11 to contact a school nurse for confidential advice and support via text message.  The service is open Monday-Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm

Occupational Therapy for Children and Young People Advice Line                                                                                        

This advice line allows you to talk with an occupational therapist who will aim to provide practical advice, strategies, signposting and support to improve your child's daily living skills.  The service is open Tuesday and Thursday 12pm - 2pm.

Autism Globe 

Autism Globe is a Cardiff-based organisation led by parents of autistic children, providing peer-led support tailored to the needs of fellow parent carers. The initiative offers a range of community-facing services including:

  • Coffee mornings designed to foster informal peer engagement

  • Drop-in sessions delivering in-person guidance and advice

  • A telephone helpline for confidential support

  • Workshops focused on practical themes relevant to autism care

  • Autism-friendly play sessions specifically designed for children
